Frederick Daily is a San Francisco based tax lawyer, writer and tax professor. He is
a graduate of the University of Florida and it's College of Law with a Masters in Law
(tax). Fred's practice of 30 years is devoted exclusively to tax and IRS matters. Fred is
Of Counsel to Tierney Walden & Watson in San Francisco, California.
Fred Daily is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Taxation at Golden Gate
University in San Francisco. He is a member of the California and Florida Bars and has
been admitted to U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Supreme Court as well as other federal District
and Appeals Courts.
Fred Daily is the author of three tax books, including Nolo
Press' Stand Up to the
IRS and Tax Savvy for Small Business, which
is also an interactive feature of Intuit's tax preparation software, MacIntax for Small
Business and Turbotax for Small Business.
Fred Daily is regularly quoted in financial and legal publications including the New York Times, Lawyer's Weekly, U.S. News & World Report,
Wall Street Journal, Tax Hotline and Money. He has appeared on ABC's Good Morning America, America Online Forums, National Public
Radio's Marketplace and CBS national television and
hundreds of radio programs.
