The Seventh Annual Institute on Current Issues in International Taxation, cosponsored with The George Washington University, will be held December 15 and 16, 1994, at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C.


INCOME TAX

Rev. Rul. 94-67
Federal rates; adjusted federal rates; adjusted federal long-term rate, and the long-term exempt rate. For purposes of sections 1274, 1288, 382, and other sections of the Code, tables set forth the rates for November 1994.

Proposed regulations under sections 30 and 179A of the Code relating to the definition of a qualified electric vehicle, the recapture of any credit allowable for a qualified electric vehicle, and the recapture of any deduction allowable for qualified clean-fuel vehicle property or qualified clean-fuel vehicle refueling property. A public hearing will be held on January 19, 1995.

God's Last Call, Newburg, OR, no longer qualifies as an organization to which contributions are deductible under section 170 of the Code.


EXCISE TAXES

PS-66-93
Proposed regulations relating to gasohol blending and the taxes on diesel fuel and compressed natural gas. A public hearing will be held on January 11, 1995.

Final regulations under section 6334 of the Code relate to property exempt from levy.

The Social Security Independence and Program Improvement Act of 1994 establishes the Social Security Administration as an independent agency and makes other improvements in the old-age, survivors, and disability insurance program.

Del. Order 222 (Rev. 3)
This order delegates authority to approve the use of pen registers and the application for issuance of a court order to monitor communications. Del. Order 222 (Rev. 2) superseded.
