Write in your social security number. The peel-off address label included in your 1998 tax return package will have your name and address printed on it. Your social security number (SSN) will not be printed on the label. You must write your SSN in the spaces provided on your tax return. If the label is for a joint return, please write the SSNs in the same order as the names.

Who must file. Generally, the amount of income you can receive before you must file a return has been increased.
