Introduction
Regardless of your age, you may be able to establish and make nondeductible contributions to an individual retirement plan called a Roth IRA.
You can make contributions for 2001 by the due date (not including extensions) for filing your 2001 tax return. This means that most people can
make contributions for 2001 by April 15, 2002.
Contributions not reported.
You do not have to report Roth IRA contributions on your return.
