IRS Names New Members to IRSAC
WASHINGTON - The Internal Revenue Service announced today 13 people will join the IRS Advisory Council. These new appointees join 11 returning members who are in the middle of their two-year terms.
The Council will hold its first meeting in 2002 from May 6 - May 8.
The IRS Advisory Council was established in 1953 and focuses on broad policy matters. The Council´s purpose is to provide an organized forum for IRS officials and representatives of the public to discuss issues in tax administration.
The following people were appointed today:
- Timothy B. Clay, President, Accounting & Business Consultants (ABC), Inc., Birmingham, AL.
- Richard D�Avino, Senior Vice President, Tax, General Electric Capital Services, Riverside, CT.
- Felecia G. Dixson, Owner-Tax Accountant, Accounting Technologies, Salem, MO.
- Timothy B. Heavner, Executive Director, The Community Tax Law Project, Richmond, VA.
- Tracy Hollingsworth, Senior Attorney and Director of Tax Affairs, Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI, Alexandria, VA.
- Ann K. Hubbard, Enrolled Agent, Hubbard Financial Services, Inc. Houston, TX.
- Diana L. Leyden, Assistant Clinical Professor/Director, University of Connecticut School of Law Tax Clinic, Hartford, CT.
- Pamela P. Kulish, President, & Chief Operations Officer, Computer Accounting Service, Inc., Bowie, MD.
- Susan W. Martin, Professor of Accounting and Taxation, Grand Valley State University, East Grand Rapids, MI.
- Michelle B. O�Connor, Assistant Clinical Professor/Director of the Tax Clinic, Quinnipiac University School of Law, Madison, CT.
