IRS Pub. 17, Your Federal Income Tax
Form 4782 eliminated. Form 4782, Employee Moving Expense Information, has
been eliminated, effective for tax year 1998, because employer reimbursements for
qualified moving expense are no longer included in an employee's gross income. Employer
reimbursements for nonqualified moving expenses must be reported on Form W-2, Wage
and Tax Statement.
Forms 3903 and 3903-F consolidated. Forms 3903, Moving Expenses, and 3903-F, Foreign
Moving Expenses, have been consolidated into one form. Form 3903, Moving Expenses,
now is used to report expenses for both foreign and domestic moves.
