Saint Croix: Social Security Administration, 1, 2, & 3A Sunny Isle Shopping Center, Christiansted, Virgin Islands 00820.Guam--Social Security Administration Office, Suite 300, 655 Harmony Loop Road, Dededo, Guam 96929.American Samoa--Social Security Administration Office, Pago Plaza, Suite 11, Pago Pago, American Samoa 96799.Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands--Social Security Administration Office, Suite 201, MA II Building, Garapan, Saipan, M.P. 96950.Working people in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, like those working in the United States, are now building protection for themselves and their families under the Social Security program. The three kinds of monthly benefits under Social Security are:

  1. 1. Retirement--at age 65. (Reduced benefits are payable as early as age 62.)

  2. 2. Disability--when a worker under age 65 becomes unable to work because of a disability.

  3. 3. Survivors--when a worker dies.

In addition to cash benefits, health insurance benefits are available for certain categories of people, whether or not they are retired.
