LIF0; price indexes; department stores. The March 1994 Bureau of Labor Statistics price indexes are accepted for use by department stores employing the retail inventory and last-in, first-out inventory methods for valuing inventories for tax years ended on, or with reference to, March 31, 1994.

Final regulations relating to the application of section 514(c)(9)(E) of the Code to partnerships in which one or more (but not all) of the partners are qualified taxexempt organizations within the meaning of section 514(c)(9)(C).

Notice 94-62
This notice withdraws a portion of proposed regulations (LR-261-76, 1983-2 C.B. 629) under section 280A of the Code relating to the deductibility of expenses attributable to business use of a dwelling unit used as a residence.
