Analyzed selected Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Statistics of Income (SOT) data for charity organizations that are tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)3). The objective of this analysis was to determine the lobbying expenditures of charities that filed IRS Form 990.2 You specilically asked us to compare the average lobbying expenditures of charities that received grants from government entities with the average lobbying expenditures of charities that did not receive such grants.
