You may be able to take an IRA deduction if you are covered by a retirement plan and
your 2001 modified adjusted gross income is less than the amount shown below that
applies to you.
- Single, head of household, or married filing separately and you lived apart from
your spouse for all of 2001--$43,000.
- Married filing jointly or qualifying widow(er)--$63,000.
